Z Club raises funds and awareness for tenth anniversary

The Macleans College Z Club recently hosted a bake sale, raising over $600 in support of their upcoming tenth anniversary celebration and to promote awareness of Zonta’s work.

A variety of home-baked treats - including cookies, brownies and cakes - were sold during lunchtime. Students gathered in large numbers to purchase the items and support the cause.

Throughout the event, Z Club members actively shared information about Zonta, an international organisation dedicated to advancing equality, education and the prevention of child marriage and gender-based violence. Orange ribbons were displayed as a symbol of support.

All funds raised will contribute to the club’s tenth anniversary event, marking a decade since its chartering at Macleans College. The celebration will take place at the Bentley Pavilion on 18 July.
