We seek a creative and technically skilled leader of learning to head a new faculty that combines the subject areas of technology, computing and the visual arts.  Strong inter-personal skills with sound curriculum and assessment knowledge will be essential.

Receptionist and Parent Liaison Coordinator

40.0 hours per week (term time only)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable person to manage the smooth running of the reception area and also be a liaison coordinator for the school with Chinese speaking parents. 

You will need to have a professional telephone manner and be able to deal sensitively with a range of students, staff, parents and outside agencies.

You will need excellent IT and interpersonal skills (KAMAR and Microsoft an advantage). Previous school office experience would be an advantage but not essential.

You must be able to speak and write fluently in Chinese (Mandarin) as well as possess skills using Chinese social media, especially WeChat.

You must have good organisational skills as the job requires organizing regular events with Chinese parents for the school.

Hours of work will be 7.45 am – 4.15 pm, with flexibility to work additional days during the holidays, after school hours and weekends if required.

Start date – Start of 2020 academic year.
