How to Apply

Students may enrol for a single term or remain through to graduation - up to five years of secondary schooling in New Zealand.

The enrolment process has been designed to be straightforward, supporting students and families from initial enquiry through to arrival in New Zealand.  

Each step ensures students are appropriately placed academically and settled into homestay accommodation before their studies begin.

Prepare required documents

Before beginning an application, the following documents should be gathered and ready to upload:

• Current passport
• Portrait photograph
• Most recent school report, including attendance record (with English translation)
• Vaccination certificate (with English translation, if available)
• Insurance certificate (with English translation, if available)

Submit the online application

Once all documents are prepared, the online application form can be completed and submitted with supporting documents attached.

All information provided must be complete and accurate.  This ensures appropriate academic placement and suitable homestay matching.

Where information relates to health conditions or learning needs, honest disclosure will not automatically disqualify a student from enrolment.  However, failure to disclose relevant information, or providing misleading information, may result in the withdrawal of an Offer of Place or termination of a Contract of Enrolment.

International students intending to study in New Zealand must apply for a visa through Immigration New Zealand.  A Confirmed Offer of Place from Macleans College is a required supporting document for this application.
