Macleans College Digital Archive

Step back in time and explore the history of Macleans College.

Since 2010, the school has been building a digital archive of photographs, documents and recordings that capture life at the school across the decades. The collection continues to grow every year.

Macleans College Digital Archive

What can you find in the archive?

  • Photographs from important events such as athletics, cross country, productions, camps and prizegivings
  • Photos showing the development of the Macleans College campus over 48 years
  • Newsletters, programmes and other documents from over the years

Who is the archive for?

Alumni, past staff, parents, friends or supporters hoping to spot a familiar face in a team photo, family members curious about the school's heritage, current students wondering what school life looked like decades ago, and anyone who enjoys a trip down memory lane are all welcome to explore.

How to use the archive

Items are tagged by year, event and theme, and a search function is also available, so finding a particular item is quick and easy. Visitors can browse by collection, or search for a year, event or sport.

Help us grow the archive

The archive is a work in progress, and there are gaps to fill. Alumni and community members with photographs, programmes or memorabilia from their time at Macleans College are warmly invited to share them.

Details such as the year, the event and who is pictured are very helpful.

Please note

The archive is available for viewing only, and downloads are not enabled. To protect the privacy of students, staff and families, only a selection of the full collection is publicly viewable.
