Year 13 Sign Out Day 2018

All Year 13 students must attend in school uniform and be officially signed out.  All fees must be paid, and resources and gear returned before leavers’ gear, the leavers’ magazine, Year 13 photo and Grad Dinner tickets are issued.  

Please note, the School Magazine (different to the leavers’ magazine) will be available for collection on Friday 25th January between 9.00 am and 11.00 am, in the Library Study.

Please arrive outside Hillary House (Amphitheatre) at:

9.00am
Batten and Hillary: Students report to the Amphitheatre. BGW/HL will hand out leavers’ sheets.

9.30 am
Kupe and Mansfield; Students report to the Amphitheatre. BGW /HL will hand out leavers’ sheets.

10.00 am
Rutherford and Snell: Students report to the Amphitheatre. BGW/HL will hand out leavers’ sheets.

10.30 am
Te Kanawa and Upham: Students report to the Amphitheatre. BGW/HL will hand out leavers’ sheets.

You will be given a leaving form which will need to be signed by the Resource Room and Accounts.

You will have to:

  1. Return ALL your textbooks and library books to the Resource Room/library. This can be done before this sign out date, and it is recommended that you do this. You will receive a slip that says you have returned everything and you must bring this to sign out.

Move to Hillary House once you have been given a leavers’ form.

  1. Give your career destination information to Mrs Jamieson, or Mrs Jones or Mrs Bushe, seated in Hillary House.
  2. Return any other gear – blazers/tracksuit/sports gear to Ms Hughes and Mr Bevan at the appropriate place in Hillary House.
  3. Pay any outstanding amounts to Accounts, also in Hillary House (you will have been informed in advance if you owe money).

Move to H5 to collect:

  1. Grad Dinner tickets
  2. Leavers’ Magazine (note: this is not the School Magazine – see details below)
  3. Leavers’ Gear
  4. Year 13 Photo

Graduation Dinner

Grad Dinner is a formal occasion. Formal dress and formal behaviour is an expectation of Ellerslie Function Centre. You must have a ticket to gain entry. Entry is between 6.00 pm and 6.20 pm.

Any unacceptable behaviour will be dealt with by their security. This is an alcohol free event.

School Magazine

Please note that the School Magazine (different to the Leavers’ Magazine) will be available for collection on Friday 25th January, between 9am and 11am in the Library Study. There will be one copy per family.
