Year 10 Persuasive Speech Final showcases outstanding talent

Outstanding speaking skills were on display at the Macleans College Year 10 Persuasive Speech Final, where the school's top three speakers competed for the championship title.
After a highly competitive selection process at the end of last term, the finalists delivered impressive speeches that challenged and inspired their audience.
The standard of the speeches was exceptionally high, making the judges' decision a difficult one. Thank you to Mr Cargill and Mr Goodyer for judging the competition.
In addition to being crowned the Macleans College Year 10 Speech Champion, this year's winner also qualified to represent the school at the Eastern Zone Speech Competition later in Term 3.
Final results:
- First Place: Elyse Robertson (Te Kanawa House)
- Second Place: Amy Gao (Te Kanawa)
- Third Place: Nikhil Surapur (Rutherford)
