Top placings at Counties Manukau Tennis Tournament

Eleven competitive tennis players from Macleans College participated in the Counties Manukau Tennis Tournament on Tuesday 19 March.

The tournament was held at the Rosa Birch Tennis Centre in Pukekohe on a brisk autumnal day. Students excelled whilst playing on 20 well-maintained courts in a picturesque setting.

Matches were played by all in a competitive sporting environment, providing an enjoyable and pleasant end to the tennis season.

  • Matthew Bertram (Te Kanawa House) – Senior Boys singles winner

  • Annie Dong (Batten) – Junior Girls singles winner

  • Amelia Luo (Snell) – Junior Girls singles runner-up

  • Nina Kirker (Batten) – Intermediate Girls singles third place

  • Duki Stojanovic (Mansfield) – Intermediate Boys consolation winner

  • Jayden McEvoy (Batten) – Intermediate Boys consolation runner-up
