Student artwork features in Top Art exhibition

Five past Macleans College students have had their NCEA Level 3 Visual Arts portfolio selected as part of the Top Art exhibition.
This annual touring exhibition highlights the best of New Zealand’s young artistic talent, with a curated selection of top portfolio submissions from secondary school students.
The five NCEA art fields of painting, photography, art design, printmaking and sculpture are all represented in the show.
Selected students from the 2024 cohort are:
- Melissa Cristina Chang Da Cunha (Upham House 2020 - 2024) - photography
- Grace Pleydell (Batten 2020 - 2024) - photography
- Kate Lindsay (Kupe 2020 - 2024) - painting
- April Yang (Kupe 2021 - 2024) - painting
- Jennifer Lum (Mansfield 2020 - 2024) - painting
