Student ambassadors support international students at Macleans College

Posted on February 24, 2026

Macleans College recently welcomed 110 new international students from countries including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Austria, Germany and South Africa.

International student ambassadors played a key role in supporting the International Department during orientation.  These ambassadors are part of a trained leadership group, comprising 87 students from Years 10 - 13, from both international and domestic backgrounds.  They took part in a training session to prepare them for their new role.

Their responsibilities include assisting new international students in adjusting to life at Macleans College, providing guidance in and out of the classroom and fostering a supportive community throughout the year.

International students at Macleans College contribute to a vibrant and diverse community, where the exchange of global perspectives enriches the learning experience for all.
