Strong showjumping performances for Florence Haxton at Equifest

Florence Haxton (Hillary House) recently represented Macleans College at Equifest - one of New Zealand’s largest equestrian events.

She competed in the Pegasus Cup Qualifier, achieving two top-15 finishes in the 90cm showjumping classes.

Florence delivered strong performances against a competitive field of secondary school riders from across the North Island. She placed 11th in the Pegasus Style Phase and 13th in the Pegasus Power Phase.

The three-day festival attracts more than 16,000 visitors each year and features a range of equestrian disciplines.
