School prefects for 2026 announced

At a recent school assembly, Macleans College announced its school prefects for 2026, including Head Prefects and Deputy Head Prefects.
Wesley Lau (Kupe House) and Ayaan Lambat (Batten) have been appointed as Head Prefects. Edwin Shen (Kupe) and Amber Thompson (Kupe) will serve as Deputy Head Prefects.
Macleans College has 61 school prefects across the eight whānau Houses. These students epitomise the Macleans College values and are involved extensively in the extra-curricular, whānau and classroom life of the school.
The prefects recently attended a two-day leadership camp at Hunua Falls Camp. The programme focused on leadership development, teamwork and planning for the year ahead. Students worked together to develop ideas and strategies to strengthen the school community in 2026.
