Premier Mixed Touch Team participate in Quick Rip Tournament

Posted on September 07, 2018

On Wednesday 5 September, members of the Macleans College Premier Mixed Touch team participated in the ‘Quick Rip’ tournament hosted by New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU).

The tournament was aimed at enjoyment, fun, learning and growth of the game. It was also used as a way for rugby to be introduced to all levels without the element of contact.

The games were fast flowing and played at a high level of skill and finesse. The team represented the school very well, and in particular Tegan McKay (Snell House) who had been noticed by the event organisers as the ‘Sportswoman’ of the day.
