Macleans College riders showcase their skills at North Island Dressage Carnival

Lily Snell (Kupe House) and Lajeen Sabri (Hillary) represented Macleans College at the 2026 North Island Secondary Schools Dressage Carnival, held at St. Peter’s School in Cambridge.

The event brought together talented secondary school riders from across the North Island for a day of competitive dressage.

Conditions were ideal, with clear skies in Cambridge providing a great setting for the competition.  Both riders were pleased with their performances and the quality of their tests.

Lily rode Sweet Talk, achieving scores of 62.6% in Test 1A and 60.36% in Test 1B.

Lajeen competed on All Hail Mufasa, earning 56.8% in Test 1A and 50.36% in Test 1B.

Both riders represented Macleans College well and gained valuable experience competing at a North Island level.
