New Zealand National Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics

Macleans College student, Grace Huang Year 10 from Snell House is the New Zealand National Champion at Level 6 for Rhythmic Gymnastics.

She achieved this at the New Zealand Gymnastic Championships that were held in Tauranga during the first week of the school holidays. Grace was representing Gymsport Manukau.

The top 20 gymnasts who qualified in each level were competing against each other. Grace came 2nd equal in ball, 3rd in clubs, 4th in rope and achieved First place overall. She also came second overall in the Junior International Group Competition.

Her exemplary sportsmanship was noted by those organising and participating in the event.
