Medal wins for Macleans College swimmers at Auckland Champion of Champions

A group of Macleans College students competed at the Auckland Champion of Champions swimming event on Sunday 8 June.
The competition took place at the West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre in Henderson.
In the morning session, the boys’ 16-18 years freestyle relay team - Aidan Taylor (Mansfield House), Samuel Asiata (Batten), Will Herbert (Upham) and Nolan Zou (Rutherford) - secured second place, earning the silver medal.
Will also placed third in the boy’s 14-15 years 50m breaststroke, receiving the bronze medal.
The afternoon session featured the Individual Championships. Jonathan Bao (Kupe) won gold in the boys’ 13 years and under 400m freestyle.
