Macleans College student wins golfing championship

The tournament was played at St Clair Golf Club in Dunedin from 20 - 23 January. The tournament was reduced to 54 holes due to adverse weather conditions in the South Island.

Jae was one stroke behind the leader going into the final hole. He scored a brilliant birdie to finish off his round whereas the leader stumbled to a bogey to hand over the title to Jae. He returned score cards of 66, 70 and 67 over the three rounds.

Jae played an impressive 10 under for the tournament to win the title.
