At the end of term 2, Macleans College bid farewell to a group of 31 short term International Students.

The students from Brazil, France, Germany, Japan and Vietnam undertook a large variety of exciting experiences during their stay in New Zealand. These included trips to Butterfly Creek, the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) and Kelly Tarlton’s Aquarium. Venturing further afield, some students also visited Sheepworld, Hobbiton, Hamilton Gardens, Waitomo Caves and spent time in Rotorua and Taupo.

Timothe Lucas from France experienced surfing with his homestay family. Livian Trautmann from Germany enjoyed a music concert. Amanda Turossi Ferro from Brazil travelled to Queenstown with her homestay family and Mika Neidhardt from Germany enjoyed spending time with friends while rock climbing.

The students attended a farewell lunch where they were presented with a certificate and a gift to take home. These students travelled home with many wonderful memories and experiences gained during their time in New Zealand and at Macleans College.
