Macademy Awards 2026 - preview screening

On the eve of the sold out Macleans College Macademy Awards, audiences will have the chance to enjoy a special showcase of the nominated films.
While there will be no red carpet or award ceremony, guests can take part by voting for the Audience Choice Award. These votes will be added to the official tally before the winning film is announced at the Macademy Awards:
- Wednesday 23 September
- 3.30 pm - 5.00 pm
- Colin Prentice Auditorium
Admission is free, but tickets must be secured in advance at https://www.trybooking.com/nz/BFJC
Films will begin promptly at 3.30 pm, with a total runtime of approximately 90 minutes.
Some films may contain content that may not be suitable for children below the age of Macleans College students. Parental discretion is advised.
