Junior Nationals Touch Tournament

Last weekend, 9 - 10 February, six Macleans College students represented Counties Manukau at the Junior Nationals Touch Tournament, held at Rotorua Stadium.
Senior students Zayde Sarah-Baldwin (Te Kanawa House) and Isobel Forde (Te Kanawa) played in the Under 18 Girls team, and finished champions, after winning their final against Otago. Former Deputy Head Boy Sean Wilkie (Mansfield House 2014 – 2018), played in the Under 18 Boys team, which narrowly missed out on winning their final against Waikato. Regan McGregor (Batten) and Lily Cattermoul (Hillary) played in the Under 16 Boys and Girls teams, and Year 9 student, Jamie Lee Anaru (Snell), represented Counties Manukau in the Under 14 Girls team.
All of the students played exceptionally well throughout the tournament, and represented their regions and school with pride.
