High Flying Macleans College student

Posted on February 19, 2018

Former student Shelina Gujarati (Mansfield House 2000 – 2003) has enjoyed an impressive career in aviation since leaving Macleans College.

Shelina has been working as a Captain for FlyDubai on B737-800 and B73-8MAX aircraft. Prior to this she has worked as a pilot instructor and lecturer for such organisations as Massey University, CTC Aviation, L3 Airline Academy and Helipro NZ.

It has taken a lot of perseverance, hardwork and determination by Shelina to reach her current position and she hopes to inspire the students of Macleans College and more importantly the females to break the glass ceiling on this male dominated industry.
