Exam Supervisors needed – Cambridge and NCEA Examinations 2026

Macleans College is seeking reliable, organised and attentive Exam Supervisors to assist with the supervision of Cambridge and NCEA examinations in 2026.
Exam Supervisors play an important role in protecting the integrity of the examination process and ensuring that all students are supervised in a calm, fair and consistent environment.
The examination periods are:
- Cambridge examinations: 28 September – 12 November 2026
- NCEA examinations: 10 November – 4 December 2026
Applicants must be available to work flexible morning and/or afternoon sessions during these periods. You do not need to be available every day, but you will need to clearly advise your availability as part of your application.
Successful applicants will be required to attend the training sessions, with dates to be confirmed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up examination rooms and ensuring exam conditions are maintained
- Checking student entry and seating arrangements
- Distributing and collecting examination materials securely
- Monitoring students during examinations
- Enforcing examination rules and procedures
- Reporting any concerns or irregularities to the Exam Centre Manager
- Supporting the smooth running of both paper-based and digital examinations where required
Applicants should have:
- Strong attention to detail
- A calm, professional and reliable manner
- The ability to follow instructions carefully
- Confidence supervising students in a formal examination setting
- Good communication skills
- Basic digital literacy
- Availability during the Cambridge and/or NCEA examination periods
- Willingness to complete any required vetting process
