The annual musical production at Macleans College returns in 2026 with Encore. Building on a strong tradition of school drama productions dating back to 1981, this special production celebrates 30 years of musical productions at Macleans College.
This milestone recognises the beginning of Macleans College’s dedicated musical era, which began with its first full-scale musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, in 1996.
This live theatre show will feature music from the many productions staged since then. A vocal and dance cast will be supported by a live orchestra, revisiting shows such as Les Misérables, Cats, Miss Saigon, The Sound of Music, Joseph, Copacabana, Chicago and many more.
