Donations made to the SPCA by Macleans College

Posted on November 25, 2020

The “S” in the Macleans acronym stands for Sympathy and Service.

Year 10 Macleans College students from Kupe House visited the SPCA in Mangere to deliver the goods donated by the staff and students of the College.

Besides the usual tins of food, donations this year included carry cages, scratching posts, blankets, towels and a wide variety of toys for the animals’ entertainment.

The SPCA is the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and relies heavily on public donations.  By visiting the SPCA website you can discover other ways you can assist them in their work including the fostering of animals over the holiday season.

Thank you to those who generously donated goods.
