Cultural performances at Year 11 Prizegiving 2024

The Macleans College Spring Singers and Symphonic Band performed at the Year 11 Prizegiving.

The Spring Singers performed Asika Thali, a South African Folk Song arr. Ruth Morris Gray. Director – Mrs Sarah McNabb.

The Macleans College Symphonic Band performed the following:

• Sogno di Volare - Christopher Tin arr. Michael Brown. Director Yih-Hsin Huang.
• Highlights from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Howard Shore arr. Ralph Ford. Conductor Daniel Hulley (Batten House).
• Extract from Lament and Tribal Dances - Michael Sweeney. Director Yih-Hsin Huang.

The school waiata Tai Aroha and the New Zealand National Anthem God Defend New Zealand were also performed.
