Comment on the 2027-2028 Strategic Plan

Macleans College is in the process of updating its Strategic Plan. 

The Ministry of Education have several major workstreams that will dominate the Strategic Plan. These workstreams are: the implementation of the new curriculum, embedding science of learning into our pedagogy, preparation for the new national qualification replacing NCEA, meeting attendance targets, and developing new junior report formats.

That doesn’t leave much room for our own school initiatives. However, Macleans College will prioritise involvement in extra-curricular activities, contribution to the Whānau House and developing the campus property.
