Premier Basketball teams compete at Northern Cup Tournament

Macleans College’s Premier Basketball teams delivered strong performances at the Northern Cup Tournament in Pukekohe - with the boys progressing to the semi-finals and the girls finishing their campaign with a determined victory.
The boys’ team remained undefeated throughout pool play to secure a place in the semi-finals. Although their tournament ended with a tough loss to Rutherford College, Justin Choi (Upham House) delivered an outstanding individual performance, scoring a tournament-high 46 points in the semi-final.
The girls’ team showed resilience and determination throughout the competition. They finished on a high, defeating Albany Senior High School to secure 12th place.
Congratulations to both teams on their commitment, sportsmanship and impressive efforts throughout the tournament.
