Auckland Orienteering Sprints Final

On Sunday 11 April, a group of 26 students from Macleans College competed in the Auckland Sprint Series Orienteering Finals on the North Shore.
The morning event was held at AUT Akoranga Campus Northcote and the afternoon event was held at Massey University, Albany.
Macleans College had 44 students qualifying for this event after finishing in the top of their age group in the Eastern area.
Their achievements were as follows:
Morning Event
Year 10/11 Girls Category:
- Lily West (Upham House) 4th place
- Valerie Lau (Batten) 12th place
Afternoon Event
Year 9 Boys Category:
- Nathan Strachan (Rutherford) 11th place
Year 9 Girls Category:
- Cecilia Ma (Mansfield) 10th place
- Amelie Lianto (Snell) 11th place
