Macleans College celebrates 2025 Scholarship, NCEA and Cambridge exam success

Posted on March 12, 2026

Macleans College continues to strengthen its reputation as one of New Zealand’s leading academic secondary schools.

Each year, an increasing number of students gain entry to prestigious university programmes in New Zealand and overseas.  These outcomes reflect the school’s clear focus on academic excellence.  A structured teaching approach and knowledge-rich curriculum support consistent achievement.  Students are challenged and guided to reach their full potential.

Student wellbeing remains a priority.  The whānau house system fosters connection, belonging and personal growth.  Students are supported and encouraged to contribute positively to the school community.

A broad range of extra-curricular activities complements the academic programme.  Participation in sport, cultural activities and service builds confidence, leadership and resilience.  This balanced education prepares students well for tertiary study and future pathways.

At the annual Macleans College Scholars’ assembly, the school recognised students who achieved at the highest level in the 2025 examinations, including NZQA Scholarship, NCEA and Cambridge International Education (CIE).
