2026 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS)

Macleans College will again be participating in the ICAS Assessments this year.

ICAS is an online academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher order thinking and problem-solving skills and is offered to students in Years 9 to Year 12 in English, Mathematics and Science.

Each assessment celebrates students’ accomplishments by providing opportunities for recognition and development. Every student who participates will receive a printed certificate and an online results report. Top performers will be eligible for medals.

Please note, participation in ICAS assessments is not compulsory.

These assessments will be completed at school, commencing at 7.30 am on the dates listed below. Students should have a suitable BYOD device, e.g. Laptop, iPad or Android tablet, to complete the assessment.

If you wish your child to participate in ICAS this year, please refer to the ICAS website for the following:

The cost is $22.95 (incl GST) for each subject.

Enter your child’s details, select the tests you would like to purchase, then proceed to payment.  

After payment is made via the Parent Payment System, you will receive an order confirmation email, please keep this for your records.

Important:

Closing date for purchasing assessments via Parent Portal System for all subjects is Friday 17 July 2026 . No late entries can be accepted.
