Outstanding golfing performance

Vivian Lu, Year 10 from Batten House recently won the Women’s Auckland Provincial Stroke play Championship held at the Akarana Golf Club.
She returned score cards of 72, 72 and 71 over the three-day event. Vivian was competing against 30 other players.
In 2018 Vivian won the New Zealand Women’s Amateur Championship which was played over four days at the Wairakei Golf Course, near Lake Taupo in the central North Island. She also represented New Zealand in New Caledonia last year as part of the National Junior Golf team.
Vivian is a member of the Macleans College Premier Golf team, which won the national title for a second year in September 2019.
