Start researching early. Take note of application dates and apply early. Give plenty of time to anyone supporting your application. Make your requests, at least 3 weeks before the closing date, through Mr Mackenzie.

MoneyHub, a consumer finance website, has recently published a guide to scholarships for students planning to start university next year which you may find useful. It includes scholarships offered by every NZ university as well as those specifically available to local students. A list of privately-funded, Maori, Pacific and International university scholarships completes the list. MoneyHub has also published a list of tips for scholarship success. The guide is free to use.
