Kia ora e te whānau

Sadly, one of our long-serving teachers, Terry O’Dea, passed away on Sunday March 25. Mr O’Dea was the Director of Sport, a teacher and coach at Macleans for over 17 years. He was a highly respected and valued member of staff who gave countless hours to coaching, umpiring and managing teams. Terry will be greatly missed by his colleagues and the students he coached and taught. Our deepest sympathies go to his family.

Students have recently completed their Term One milestone assessments which allow teachers, families and students to gauge progress made with learning. The reports and parent interviews that follow are an important part of the learning process and we look forward to seeing you at school to meet your child’s teachers.

Parent Interviews April/May 2018

Macleans College will be using the online booking system for the upcoming Parent/Teacher interviews for both Senior and Junior students. This system allows you the opportunity to choose an interview time for your child/children and gives you the flexibility of changing the times should they not suit.

Senior Students
Parent interviews for Senior Students (Year 11-13) will be held on Tuesday 10 April 2018 from 3.30 pm - 6.30 pm. School will close at 2.45pm and buses will run at the earlier time.
Senior Reports will be available on the Parent Portal from Thursday 29 March 2018 and online bookings will be open from 3.30pm on that day.

Junior Students
Parent interviews for Junior Students (Year 9 and 10) will be held on Thursday 3 May 2018 from 3.30 pm - 6.30 pm. School will close at 2.45pm and buses will run at the earlier time.
Junior Reports will be available on the Parent Portal from Friday 13 April 2018 and online bookings will be open from 3.30 pm on that day and close at 9.00 am on Thursday 3 May 2018.

Winter Uniform

All students need to be in winter unform (winter shoes and kilt) for the first week back of Term 2.

Uniform Shop

The school Uniform Shop will be open on the following days during the school holidays:

Monday 23 April and Tuesday 24 April 9 am to 12 noon
Thursday 26 April and Friday 27 April 10 am to 12 noon
