Good luck with your exams.

JUNIOR EXAMS

Junior Exams are held 14 - 17 November. Students have been given advise on how to study and prepare for these. All junior students should be encouraged to have a study timetable and do between 2–3 hours of revision each night.

SENIOR PRIZEGIVING

Senior Prizegiving is on 11 November in the Barbara Kendall Gymnasium. The event is compulsory for year 12 and 13 and year 11 prizewinners. All parents are welcome.

BULLYING SURVEY

There is no doubt that bullying is a serious issue that all schools face. However, every school has its own processes for reporting, recording and responding to bullying.

Here at Macleans College we are endeavouring to revise and improve our school-wide approach to addressing bullying. This begins at a policy level but also involves identifying and understanding student voice on the issue.

To go about this we have created a confidential and anonymous online survey for students to fill out. This term we will focus on attaining junior student voice on bullying. The questions in the survey are aimed at highlighting student knowledge of bullying and the students experience of how bullying is managed here at Macleans College.

Lions Club

WE NEED YOUR HELP AND IDEAS

The Lions club of Bucklands Beach has had a long and successful association with the Macleans College community.

We have undertaken a large number of community projects in the Bucklands Beach and surrounding areas over a long period of time.

We want to ensure that we are undertaking projects that are relevant to the local community.

We want your help to make sure we continue to be relevant and engaged with our community.

To seek feedback and ideas for suitable future projects and engagement in our community, we are holding a public meeting where an open discussion will be held to seek ideas on what you think are relevant projects and community support that we can assist with.

Meeting to be held on November 1st 2016 –

Venue - Macleans College Auditorium

Auditorium opens at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm meeting commencement
