SchoolTV - an online wellbeing resource for parents

Posted on February 12, 2020

Macleans College is aware of the increasing need to provide ways to support the wellbeing of our students.

We are pleased to inform you that the school has subscribed to SchoolTV - an online wellbeing resource designed to help parents respond to challenging issues that young people face.

SchoolTV was developed as an innovative resource to support schools and parents in addressing the modern-day issues affecting today’s youth. It was established in 2016, in conjunction with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, one of Australia's highest profile psychologists, author, broadcaster and specialist in parenting, children, adolescents and mental health. He believes SchoolTV can be used a preventative measure in addressing many of the issues being faced by parents and their children.

Each edition of SchoolTV will address a major topic with expert interviews, fact sheets, parent quiz, recommended apps, books and much more.  SchoolTV provides a single stream of independent factual information that saves parents time and confusion of searching online across multiple sites for information.
