The team was made up by Michelle Baillie, Shannon Holt, Emma Dalton and Rachel Ford. Individual success was achieved by Rachel Ford who placed third in one of her two classes and Shannon Holt who placed ninth in one class. A special thanks to Miss Ledington who does a wonderful job of organising and supporting our equestrian teams.
Hockey - Girls
1st XI vs St Cuthberts lost 4-0. 3rd XI vs Howick won 3-0. It was a close game throughout the first half with the score at half time being 0–0. A spirited second half saw the girls score 3 goals to win the game 3 – 0.
Hockey - Boys
The boys’ 1st XI hockey team came back strongly from last week’s loss to win against King's 2 9 goals to 1. Three goals were scored by Scott Yeoman and Benjamin Pless with one each to Keegan Payne, Dillan Chandra and Nayan Patel. Joel Lawson had his best game of the season combining with Chris Bunt in defence to ensure King's had few opportunities to try and score. U15 defeated Sancta Maria 3-1. A strong game offensively built around the great play of captain, Jools Walters-Puttick, and two-goal scorer, Paul Mockridge. Generally, the team was a more cohesive unit than in previous matches and provided a superior performance.
Rugby
Having to make a big improvement from a heavy loss to Grammar, the 5a's started well against St Peter’s, scoring a well-worked early try. Going into half-time leading 7-5, the forwards then applied consistent pressure both at the breakdown and in the scrums to provide the platform for 19 unanswered points. Final score 26-5 with 2 tries to Perin MacDonald.
Basketball
Premier Girls A win against Rosehill College 53-43. This was a tight game against a very well coached side of equal strength. Macleans’ outstanding defence and intercepts were the difference between the two teams. Allie Smith and Annabel Heywood were excellent in mid-court disrupting the flow of ball by the Rosehill College players. Boys U15 team displayed improved defensive qualities which restricted the opposition scoring and were well led by captain and leading scorer, Lucas Boonstra. This resulted in a 57–24 win to Macleans.

Badminton
Premier team. This well-oiled machine just keeps rolling out the wins with yet another 6-0 triumph, this time over Pakuranga. The toughest game of the match was played by Samuel Ho. However, hot on the heels of his magnificent display at the North Harbour Under 17 competition the weekend before, in which he triumphed over the top seed, his skill and stamina netted him the game with a 31-26 score. East Zone. A 4-2 win for B1, a 4-1 win to C1 (this team is undefeated in the competition) and a hard fought 3-3 draw to C2.

The premier girls had a hard fought game against the top of the table Mount Albert Grammar team. They are a classy side with skills and size (height and bulk) that play a great game of netball and although we lost 48-24, our whole squad had the experience of playing in this game. We look forward to our challenge next Saturday against Epsom Girls Grammar. Senior A went down to Mt Albert by four goals. The final score was Mt Albert 19 Macleans 15. The score reflects the closely contested game with Mt Albert and Macleans. 10A team started strongly again and dominated the court in the first three quarters against Baradene 2 winning the game 26-14. 10B had a great win over St Cuthberts on Saturday scoring 29 goals and conceding only 12. As the competition gets increasingly tougher this team are rising to the challenge with a determined attitude.
