Five members of the Macleans College Underwater Hockey team have been selected for the Auckland U18 squad.
The selection of Callum Main (Te Kanawa House), Hayden Thompson (Te Kanawa), Lauren Bird (Rutherford), Zoe Moore (Rutherford) and Sakurako Parker-Iida (Snell) was made following the three-day Northern Regional Secondary Schools’ Championships held in Auckland recently.
The boys were placed 5th and the girls 7th at the championships playing at a high level against more established underwater teams.
