Meaghan said she met incredibly intelligent young adults from around the world as well as esteemed personalities who were currently where she would like to be in ten years time.
“I've always been fascinated by how the human mind shapes governance and the conference was the perfect opportunity to discuss the solutions to issues such as human rights, poverty, and international security. It was a life-changing experience and I will be striving to use these experiences to the benefit of other students and community members this year.”
As well as attending the conference, Meghan visited Paris, Berlin, Rome and Bangkok. A diplomatic tour involved formal receptions at foreign embassies and meeting judges and attorneys.
The conference attracted 4000 students and teachers from more 200 schools around the world.
Meaghan plans to study law and political science with psychology or journalism in New Zealand or the United States.
