Talented New Zealand Cycling star, Sam Lindsay of Macleans College, has been accepted to join the Velo Cycling Team in France.
<empty>
The club is located in the town of Morteau which is close to the Swiss border and he will leave in March next year to join the road racing team. He will return in October. <empty>

“It is cool to be given the opportunity to race overseas for a good block of time,” he said today.
<empty>
Sam has been cycling competitively for the last four years and his recent races have included the Tour de Abitibi in Canada and the Tour of Canberra where he was placed 3rd overall. At the New Zealand Secondary Schools Individual Time Trials held in Auckland he was placed 1st breaking the record. He was also named the Macleans College Sportsman of the Year at the annual senior prize-giving.
