International students featured in the Macleans College assembly on Friday.

The students in the photo below, members of the college intercultural club, took part in singing to celebrate Matariki or the Maori New Year. Matariki is a time to plant new crops and trees.

Kjell-Mogen Koenig, a keen sportsman at the college, was recognised for his success in the Auckland Secondary Schools Duathlon and Triathlon where he was placed first in both in events. Kjell-Mogen is from Lubbecke in Germany.
