Head Prefects for 2005 Announced at Macleans College

Head prefects and prefects for 2005 at Macleans College were announced at the college formal assembly today.
Lara Markstein (WZs) and Kaikobad Karbhari (12NSs) were introduced as the new leaders.

Two year ten students, Lauren Boucher and Kate Castle were acknowledged for the high placing in the Manukau City Villa Maria couture event.

This followed the wearable arts event at the college where Lauren was placed 1st in the recycled awards with Kate 2nd . At the Villa Maria competition the students received the same placings.

Three year 11 students have also won the 2004 TVNZ/Net Guide Schools Web Challenge. David Wang, Joshua Catt and Chris Grubb developed a web site on micro organisms.
